While I was marking my students’ journals, one entry left me staring in disbelief: [My brother has been in the duck business for years, but now, all of a sudden, he can’t keep going anymore…] For the sake of my student’s physical and mental well-being, I decided to ask his older brother in for a talk. Who knew the student would get the wrong idea and insist on introducing his brother to me instead? I declined as tactfully as I could. “I’m not really interested in men in the escort business…” But the student didn’t understand. Instead, he got anxious. “My brother doesn’t have to make duck!
